A started puppy has moved beyond the basics of early puppyhood and has been thoughtfully introduced to foundational training and daily structure. These puppies have begun crate training, potty training, and basic obedience skills, along with developing appropriate house manners and routines. Each puppy is started at a level appropriate for their age, temperament, and intended role, allowing their training to progress naturally rather than being rushed.
Our started puppies are raised with intention and consistency, focusing on confidence, engagement, and adaptability. While the specific level of training may vary from puppy to puppy, all receive a strong foundation designed to make the transition into their new home smoother and more successful. Continued training and reinforcement in the new home are essential, as these early lessons are meant to support long-term development, not replace it.

This pairing was carefully selected to bring together Oakley’s proven temperament, structure, and versatility with Walter’s beautiful full show-line pedigree. Walter is owned by Rocky Flats Kennels and bred by Iron Hill, bringing classic Labrador type, balance, and presence to this litter. Oakley has already proven herself within our program, with her previous litter producing puppies thriving in a variety of homes and roles, including one puppy who was already alerting to seizures for his family at just six months old. This will be Oakley’s second and final litter, and we expect well-rounded puppies with steady temperaments, strong genetics, and the potential to excel as devoted family companions, therapy or service prospects, and beautiful examples of the Labrador Retriever.
